This position serves as the Head Coach for the Women’s Volleyball team at UW-Fond du Lac. The Head Coach is responsible for all aspects of the Volleyball program on campus. This position reports directly to the Athletic Director.
• Provide a safe learning environment
• Provide adequate instruction and knowledge of volleyball
• Promote UW Fond du Lac’s mission
• Nurture a competitive team environment that highlights good sportsmanship
• Transport student-athletes to and from matches in a safe manner
• Abide by the eligibility requirements of the WCC (Wisconsin Collegiate Conference)
• Maintain a professional relationship with student-athletes
• Coordinate weekly practices
• Host 5-6 home matches per season
Qualified candidate should possess:
• High School Diploma; preferred for candidates to possess an Associate’s Degree or higher.
• Prior high school level (or above) playing/coaching experience in the sport of volleyball
• Demonstrated leadership experience
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• High level of organization
• A valid driver’s license
