Grant Writing & Development

Welcome to the University of Wisconsin Colleges grants information webpage's. On these pages you will find a wealth of information about all aspects of grant writing and development. This information is organized into the following sections:

  • Searching for grants describes the three areas of grant searching: Government grants, Foundation grants, Local grants.
  • Writing a grant is a resource on the "A-Z" of grant writing including the designing, writing and budget development for a grant.
  • Submitting a grant gives step by step instructions including the forms needed to submit a grant.

The UW Colleges Grants Office provides several grant-related services for UW Colleges faculty and staff including: searching for grant sources, designing a project, assistance with editing/writing, and assistance in submitting a grant. Contact for more information.
