Research Interests & Undergraduate Opportunities
1) Investigating nutrition-dependent cellular stress in a model yeast system correlating human nutritional epidemiology studies to better understand aging and longevity as well as the etiologies of cardiovascular disease and Vitamin D-sensitive cancers.
2) Genomic characterization of the threatened Clouded Leopard to assist with future preservation.
3) Developing innovative and engaging biotech/molecular wellness outreach activities for middle and high school students.
