My work experience lies in road construction and construction management. I previously taught Construction Management and Heavy/Highway Construction at Ferris State University. I was the National Construction Educator of the year in 1997, and was the first female to be awarded this honor. I have been teaching in the UW Colleges since 1998. I am the advisor for UW-BC Future Engineers. The UW-BC Future Engineers team won the 2016 National Rube Goldberg Collegiate Championships in Columbus, OH. I teach engineering courses for UW-Barron County as well as UW Colleges and UW Colleges Online.
