My research interests focus on terrestrial ecology and animal behavior. I work mainly with spiders and insects and have most recently done projects focusing on the effects of leg autotomy (self-amputation) on 1) locomotion and 2) competition, development and cannibalism in Pholcid (cellar) spiders.
