Lori Galetka, athletic director, is in her 10th year as head volleyball coach and seventh year as head basketball coach for the Marauder Women's Basketball Team. In Coach Galetka's first year, her team won the school's first state championship in volleyball in 2001, followed by another state championship in 2004 and state runner up in 2005.

Her volleyball teams have won six Western Division Championships in a row and two WCC (Wisconsin Collegiate Conference) Championships: one in 2005 and the other in 2007. Coach Galetka has an impressive overall record of 93-17 in her seven seasons as the head coach of the Marauder Women. In 2005 she was voted Coach of the Year by her peers.

In Coach Galetka's six years as head women's basketball coach she has an overall record of 40-29 with one Western Division Championship. In her 2007-08 season the Marauder women won the WCC Tournament and finished second overall in their division. With a record of 16-5, they also finished second in the WJCAA. Coach Galetka was voted Coach of the Year by her peers in 04-05 and 07-08.

Prior to coming to UW-Marshfield/Wood County, Coach Galetka was the JV coach and assistant volleyball coach at Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids for seven years and sophomore basketball coach at Lincoln for two years.

Coach Galetka has her bachelor's and master's degrees in Physical Education and General Education with an emphasis in health and wellness from UWSP.
