Intro. to Acting (CTA 232-001): MW 2-3:15 pm in the theatre

Theatre Laboratory (CTA 131-001, 002, 003): by arrangement. Rehearsals are usually between 6-10 pm Monday through Thursdays and one three-hour block on the weekend. Meetings may also occur outside of this window.

Statement 

Dr. Stone Thornberry joined the campus in the fall of 2011 with a doctorate in theatre and MFA and BFA in acting. Previously, she taught Acting, Intro to Theatre, Public Speaking, and Theatre History at Front Range Community College, the University of Colorado at Boulder, and at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. She has directed numerous shows in Colorado, Texas, and New York, as well as presented at the Association of Theatre in Higher Education and Mid-West Theatre Conferences. Her research interests include American and world theatre history, popular culture, disability in theatre, feminism, classic and contemporary performance, dramaturgy, acting, directing, and voice for the actor among others. Her current research project centers on the late 19th and early 20th century actress, director, and producer Minnie Maddern Fiske.
