Overview

Health, Exercise Science and Athletics offerings in the UW Colleges include a variety of courses. The curriculum is made up of a variety of activity courses for non-majors (varies from campus to campus). There are also basic courses with emphasis on rules and teaching techniques, for students majoring or minoring in physical education. The third grouping of courses includes lecture courses for students majoring in health, physical education or exercise science related disciplines. Faculty at each campus build on the basic curriculum by offering courses in which they have special skills or which are of interest in the local area.
