Eric Boos, assistant professor of philosophy, kicked off the UW-Fond du Lac Speaker Series with two two-hour presentations. Entitled "Plato's Food Fight: The Impossibility of Developeing a Philosophy of Sustainability in the Land of Plenty," the presentation draws upon Plato's social philosophy and Boos' experience as an organic farmer both in Wisconsin and Africa.
