IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Beginning this fall, the Health Insurance Dual-Choice and Employee Reimbursement Account (ERA) fall enrollment information will be announced to eligible employees via an email message. In past years, hard copy Dual Choice and ERA materials were personalized and sent to each eligible employee. This fall instead of the hard copy information, employees will be sent a separate email relating to each benefit plan that includes a message about the enrollment opportunities and refers them to a web site to view the information on-line. This improved service will get the information to the employee earlier and it will be easier for the employee to refer to the on-line information anytime throughout the year relating to the details of the plan. The electronic message delivery is the way of the future.

In addition to the Dual-Choice and ERA enrollments this fall, there will be open enrollments for eligible employees to enroll in the Dental Plans (Represented or Non-Represented), as well as Spectera Vision. The Dental Plan and Spectera Vision open enrollment opportunities will be announced to the employee via email, versus hard copy materials. There will be separate email messages for each of the following:

  1. Dual-Choice “State Group Health” Regular
  2. Dual Choice “State Group Health” Graduate Assistants/Short Term Academic Staff
  3. ERA
  4. Dental Represented
  5. Dental Non-Represented
  6. Spectera Vision

Employees will begin receiving these email notices in early October.
