Statement 

In my previous career, I was an Associate Research Fellow with Abbott Laboratories in N. Chicago, IL assisting with the development and commercialization of new pharmaceuticals including antibiotics, antiretrovirals, and cognitive enhancers. This work led to numerous patents and publications.

My professional research interests include the discovery and development of new methods for organic synthesis, particularly those that follow the principles of sustainability, frequently called Green Chemistry. These include pericyclic reactions and those utilizing atmospheric oxygen.

I remember my time at UW-Rock very fondly and I am looking forward to using my non-academic expertise and connections for the benefit of all of its students. Stop by and see me.
