Marc Seals has been an English professor at UW-Baraboo/Sauk County (now UW-Platteville Baraboo Sauk County) since 2006. Prior teaching experience includes being on the English faculty at the University of South Florida; teaching middle-school English and drama in Tallahassee, Florida; teaching high-school English in Bainbridge, Georgia; and teaching literature in the Upward Bound program at Florida A&M University. He has published articles and delivered papers on Ernest Hemingway, Raymond Chandler, Zona Gale, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Gwendolyn Brooks, Neil Gaiman, and others.

Dr. Seals enjoys cycling, cooking, disc golf, and watching football. He still prefers the snows of Wisconsin to the hurricanes of Florida.
